My son got to Okavango when he was two y.o. Today he is 5 and ready for kindergarten. Maria teaches kids to be nice people, to help each other, to love, to take care of smaller kids. Kids are also studying: they are learning numbers and letters, to count and to read, to draw, they are cutting and using the glue, kids have different classes like music and gymnastics, they have theater class where kids learn to memorize text, sing songs and be actors. Kids eating healthy - organic home fresh made food with love. Every time when I come to school they all run to me to hug me and tell me some interesting stories:)) I see how happy they are in Okavango! They always smile and are in a good mood! Yes, kids miss their parents and it's absolutely normal, they are happy and healthy in Okavango and it's most important.

Our daughter, a shy 18 mo old at the time, started going to Okavango nearly 2 years ago. We simply fell in love with the place, the owner (Maria) and all the teachers! Our daughter got comfortable with the teachers and kids very quickly, got potty trained by the age of 2 and could recite the alphabet and count to 10, before we (working parents :)) could even start teaching her any of these. We always felt that our daughter was truly cared for and loved!!! We feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon this daycare by chance and couldn't sing enough praises for this place!!

I would highly recommend this daycare to any parent who is looking to place his/her child in loving, caring, clean, educational, fun and reliable childcare. My son (2 y.o.) has been going to this daycare for almost a year now and I can not thank Maria enough for the wonderful job she and her team do. In the morning they meet and greet kids that are coming in and then they serve yummy breakfast (always nutritional, which is a HUGE deal to us). Then they go play outside (there is a very spacious yard space with slides and toys and shades. After that they come back in and do some studying (numbers, drawings, dancing...). They work on potty training and brushing teeth. One of the biggest reasons we decided on this daycare was that the kids learn Russian through day to day activities. I love how my son switches from Russian to English in a heartbeat and understands everything you tell him. I have dropped by without announcements on some occasions and not once did I see kids crying or not enjoying themselves. As a mother I can not thank Maria enough for taking care of our son and making me feel calm and sure that he is in good hands.

We are so happy to be a part of the Okavango Family. It is an amazing daycare. My daughter is picky but she loves Maria's homemade food, especially vegetable cream soup. They have Russian language, math, and music classes. The room is clean with a lot of good quality toys, the back yard is big with some gardening there. I love the concerts which they perform several times per year. Yes, for the time we were with Okavango we became like a family.
